To help you pick a delivery service for your oversized or bulky items, here’s a summary of the maximum weights and sizes accepted for some of our large parcel courier services. You never know, your large parcel might fit within these limits.

UPS

UPS can have your parcel delivered across the UK and internationally, with a choice of both drop-off and collection services. The maximum parcel length is 170cm (or 1.7m) and they will accept a maximum weight of 30kg. They also require all parcels to be packaged in a box, so take the box size into consideration if you’re using this service for a large parcel.

Parcelforce

Parcelforce have a wide range of services for the UK and also for international parcels. The largest parcel size they'll accept is 200cm (or 2m) long and 25kg in weight.

DPD

For large parcel delivery to Europe, you can book the DPD Europe two-day service, with a maximum parcel length of 175cm and a maximum weight of 30kg. Alternatively, the DPD Air Classic service, delivering large parcels to Australia, USA, China and the rest of the world has a maximum length of 170cm and weight of 30kg.

Hermes

Hermes delivery services offer great value for money and some of the cheapest parcel delivery prices. However, they’re not an ideal choice for larger parcel deliveries, as the maximum parcel length is 120cm (1.2 metres) and the maximum weight is 15kg.
