Print A Back-up Label

Just in case the label you attach to the parcel falls off, why not print an extra copy and insert it inside the box? It’s better to be safe than sorry.

Take Care With Foreign Words

Double check that the address is spelt correctly, including the use of foreign letters, characters, accents or umlauts. If not, the courier could return the package to you and you'll be liable for the charge – something none of us want to happen!

Provide A Contact Number

Your delivery date and time will depend on where in Europe it is being sent but generally the courier will arrive between 8am and 6pm. To help the couriers delivering your parcel please ensure you include a local contact number for the recipient. This is so they can give them a call if they get lost!

Safety Assurance

One of our mottos is safety first! To keep your parcel safe our couriers will not collect from outside your home – it is much better to hand over your precious cargo in person and send it on its way across Europe. Please make sure you are home when the courier arrives to collect.

Frequently asked questions

How soon can I have my parcel collected?

Once you have placed your order, your parcel can be collected within 24 hours – usually the following day. If you are unable to wait at home for your parcel to be collected then don’t leave it outside where anyone could see it! Book a drop-off service instead and drop it off when you are ready… it might even help have your item delivered a little earlier.

My parcel is bigger/heavier than allowed, can I still send it?

Your best option would be to repackage your items into 2 or more parcels that fit the courier's maximum dimensions. Otherwise you could head over to our friends at where you can enjoy deliveries from only £76 within the EU.

What are prohibited and restricted items?

Prohibited items, such as passports, any currency and payment cards are not permitted to be sent by any of the couriers you can book through My Parcel Delivery. Other items are able to be sent but aren’t eligible for any compensation cover so couriers have classed them as restricted. These restricted items include desktop computers and lamps.

What should I do if my parcel isn't collected?

The vast majority of parcels are collected by the courier on the very first attempt. While this is the case, every so often, collections fail for one reason or another - we're truly sorry about this. The couriers aren't able to offer you guaranteed collection dates but they do everything in their power to knock on your door when they say they will. Whether your courier ran out of time, or the courier arrived but the parcel was not available, contact us to reschedule your collection.

What do I do if my parcel fails to be delivered?

Our courier partners enjoy a massive 95% success rate with European deliveries. That said, although most go without a hitch, occasionally things can go wrong and none of the couriers are able to guarantee their delivery dates. Anything from heavy traffic, road closures and accidents to flight delays and customer queues can affect the courier's route and their ability to deliver on time. If you experience a delay with your delivery we're truly sorry for the inconvenience. We’ll email you to keep you up to date but you can contact us if you need help to reschedule your service for a different day.
