Does my parcel need to be packaged?

Keeping your parcel protected is our top priority so we have created some packaging guidelines to help your parcel arrive in tip-top condition.

It’s important to check these guidelines and follow them to the T as, if you haven’t followed them, your parcel could be refused by the courier or face additional repackaging charges at the depot. Even more importantly, it could invalidate your compensation cover which we certainly wouldn’t want. It’s best to go with the motto of “if in doubt, add an extra layer of bubble wrap!”

Different couriers have extra rules for packaging so please make sure you check the courier information for this. These could be anything from ensuring your parcel is packaged in a strong cardboard box, to not allowing you to send cylindrical items. You can check the service features by clicking the information button on the quote page.
