Plants and seeds are two of the key items on the prohibited list if you want to send a parcel to Australia. They aren’t allowed to be sent because seemingly common plants in the UK could cause devastation to Australia’s agriculture and unique environment.
There are strict screening and quarantine processes in place however a recent article in the Guardian revealed how eBay, Amazon and other similar marketplaces are offering many of the prohibited plants for sale to buyers in Australia.
