The Democratic Republic of the Congo, also known as DR Congo or DRC, is a central African country. Within its borders, dense jungles give way to the world’s greatest population of lowland gorillas, elephants and a multitude of other animals. With such magnificent wildlife and the continent’s best forest reserves located in its backyard, the country could become a leading destination for tourism. While there is still significant progress to be made, there are systems that allow for travel and courier service to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
