All I want for Christmas is a trade show

11/6/2021

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year for esellers and, here at My Parcel Delivery, our hard-working elves are raring to go as peak season hits. Still, while your products might be flying off the virtual shelves, it's often easy to forget that just 13% of all Christmas shopping is done online. As we race towards the 25 th December, eager shoppers across the country will flock to markets and fairs in search of the perfect gift. When it comes to events, we've got quite a few names on our nice list this year. Although it might feel too late to book a stand and exhibit (there are often last minutes spaces available, so it is worth a look...), there are tons of reasons to get yourself down to a festive fair this year. You might think we're crazy for suggesting you take time out of your busy day at this time of year, but think of all the clients you can potentially source by popping to an event with a stack of business cards in hand. Whether it's new customers or potential partners for business collaboration, networking is a key reason to don the Christmas jumper and mingle at the exhibitions. You'll get to see what the hot products are, what the competition is up to and you'll leave with a sackful of motivation and new ideas. Here are just some of the places you can check out this year.Festive Gift Fair, 16-19 NovemberThe NEC Birmingham opens its doors for the Festive Gift Fair from the 16 th November. The event is bursting at the seams with exhibitors and attracts huge crowds of Christmas shoppers. It features all the trimmings: food, drink and an appearance by Father Christmas, everyone's favourite gig-economy worker. If you're a small business, definitely worth checking out, especially as an exhibitor - whether you do it this year or next...Eat & Drink Festival, 22-26 NovemberChristmas is a time for overindulgence and London's latest food festival is happy to facilitate your expanding festive waistband with four days of food and drink at Olympia London. The festival, which takes place during the last week of November, sees exhibitors share their perishable wares ahead of the upcoming food frenzy. If you're merely in the market for meat, a number of celebrity chefs make Christmas dinner look easy with workshops and demonstrations at the Foodie Stage. Perfect for anyone selling tasty goods; either seasonal produce or gifts.Country Homes & Interiors Christmas, 23-26 NovemberStonor Park Manor House, Henley-on-Thames, hosts the Country Homes & Interiors Christmas show between 23-26 November.
