myParcelDelivery.com was developed by two young entrepreneurs Paul Haydock and David Grimes.
They both had the idea whilst trying to get reasonable courier rates for another business coupled with many hours waiting in the local post office. The realisation quickly dawned that it was not only businesses that needed access to reliable, trackable and cost effective courier services – but also small retailers, eBay Sellers and the general public. David and Paul then embarked on a 20 month development program to design and specify a website that could perform beyond any perceivable competition.
The result is – myParcelDelivery.com™, which is focused on saving you time and money when sending (and receiving!) parcels. Every function of myParcelDelivery.com™ culminates in your successful sending of a UK based, or indeed an international parcel delivery. With an incredible team effort, our IT department has raised the bar in development standards to ensure that what we do is right for you.

myParcelDelivery.com™ have won the highly contested Shell LiveWIRE Grand Ideas Award. The award signifies another huge leap in the company’s success to date, and represents how far the business has come since day 1. We would like to thank everybody who showed their support in helping us secure this award, and hope to land more accolades in the very near future!

myParcelDelivery.com™ directors David Grimes and Paul Haydock have been shortlisted for the Shell LiveWIRE Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2011, which could see the company scoop up more recognition for the services it provides.
Digital Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2010 – Turning thoughts into Action
Ten people could have thought of the same idea, but that is all they were – thoughts! Turning thoughts into action is what being an entrepreneur is all about – and that is exactly why Paul Haydock and David Grimes walked home with the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Recognised for their outstanding achievements in the parcel delivery industry, Paul and David were both proud to receive the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Since 2006 the competition has set out to honour the pioneers of the UK’s Webspace and have since recognised David and Paul’s Entrepreneurial flair.
The two Cambridge University graduates had the idea for the courier services comparison website when searching for cheap courier services for another business. They soon realised that finding cost effective, reliable and trackable parcel delivery services combined with value added features and user-friendly design were uncommon. So they embarked on a 20 month development plan to design a website that performs beyond any perceivable competition. The result – myParcelDelivery.com.
The award ceremony took place on Wednesday the 1st of December 2010 at the Palace Hotel in Manchester. David and Paul are thrilled by winning such a prestigious award.
UK Fast Track Competition – Venimus, vidimus, vicimus (We came, We saw, We conquered)
We entered and won the ‘Best Business Ideas in the North West’ competition held by UK Fast – one of the UK’s leading web hosting companies and we were thrilled to know that others out there think the same about our business. Without sounding too boastful, it reaffirmed just how great an idea myParcelDelivery.com is. And of course this is just the beginning! We have big plans to develop this idea even further. After all – a good idea is just that, good! We intend on developing our idea into even greater things that makes it truly innovative and sustainable. So it is onward and upwards!
Big Chip Awards 2011 – Not one but TWO!
myParcelDelivery.com™ was shortlisted for two Big Chip 2011 Awards for Best E-Business Project and Best Newcomer. Being selected for the awards was especially rewarding since there was a record number of entrants to the Big Chip Awards this year.
Business Masters Awards – The Newcomer’s
In April 2011, myParcelDelivery.com™ reached the finals of North West Business Masters Awards ‘Best Newcomer’ category and left with the Runner-up trophy. Having established an online presence in July 2010 the whole team have worked incredibly hard to stimulate growth and expansion in as little time as possible. Since then the company has seen record numbers of users and has taken on 6 new members of staff. A fantastic achievement for the team!
